‘Yes, damn I am’

Doja Cat doubles down on his intention to quit the music industry: “Yes, the fuck I am.”

Last week, Doja Cat took to Twitter and said she wanted to quit the music industry. Since then, she has also changed the name of her Twitter account to “I quit”.

“It’s gone and I don’t care if-kin quit, I can’t wait to fade away and I don’t need you to believe in me anymore,” Doja Cat wrote. “Everything is dead to me, the music is dead, and I’m a fool for ever thinking I was meant for this, it’s a nightmare, don’t follow me.”

Seemingly taking a step back, Doja Cat took to Twitter again and expressed some of the perks of being a star in the industry.

“I can travel, I can eat well, I can see new people, I can smile, I can create memories I’ve been dreaming of, I can laugh, I can support my family and friends, I can experience the world, and I can give back to everyone because of you. I owe people shit. I owe a lot,” the artist said.

While many are speculating on whether or not she will quit the music game, it seems Doja is determined not to make any more hits.

On March 28, MIX 105.1 reposted a story posted by Audacy titled “Doja Cat apologizes for saying she is quitting music. In their caption, MIX 105.1 wrote, “Ok so maybe @DojaCat isn’t retiring,” and tagged Pike Taylor Radio. Underneath the radio station’s tweet, Doja Cat wrote, “Yes the fuck I am.”
