Steelo Brim and Chuck Inglish Keep It Player in “DYWR” Music Video – VIBE.com

Steelo Brim released the music video for the song “DYWR” featuring Chuck Inglish. The video was directed by Brim himself as well as NoLoveOutWest. In the creative visual, the two men groove to the piano-laden rhythm of their lyrics that define the player’s bearing.

“DYWR” – an acronym that stands for “Do You Wanna Ride”. With old-school lowriders and silk garments, Chuck Inglish and Steelo Brim channel the laid-back energy captured while cruising through town.

“DYWR” is from Steelo Brim’s March release Eldorado Tours. Additionally, the project features Arin Ray, Fabolous, Buddy, BJ The Chicago Kid, and more. Brim was inspired by car rides in his father’s Cadillac to produce his latest work.

“It wasn’t the first time I had heard music, but it was the first time I had really apprehended it. This music collective of D’Angelo’s brown sugar, Tony! Tony! Your! soul sondo or die imagine thisetc… helped shape my ears and while doing this project, I embodied that and those sweet ultra black memories I had growing up,” he explained.

Beyond the rise in music, Steelo Brim is best known as co-host of the MTV series Ridiculous, and his podcast Wine & Cannabis.
