At 7:35 a.m. on November 23, a caller reported that the catalytic converter was stolen from his Honda CRV overnight while parked at the Beachcliff Place apartments. The agents are investigating.

At 7:35 p.m. on November 23, a caller reported a theft at a local store. Confronted with an employee, the suspect threatened the employee before leaving the scene. The agents are investigating.

Disorderly Driving, Center Ridge Road

At 7:50 p.m. on November 23, a caller reported that a drunken woman was trying to get into cars in a restaurant parking lot. Before the police arrived, the appellant reported that the woman got into a black van that did not belong to him. The owner of the truck did not know who she was. When the officers arrived, the woman was unable to say where she lived or to name someone who could come and help her. She was cited for disorderly driving while intoxicated and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Assault, Hilliard Blvd.

At 8:15 p.m. on November 23, a caller reported a brawl outside Rocky River Recreation Center. Officers determined that there had been a dispute over playing music at an indoor volleyball game and that a 23-year-old man was asked to leave. While being escorted, the man punched one of the men with him in the face. An arrest warrant has been obtained for the man for assault.
