Linktree announces acquisition of Songlink / Odesli and launches Music Link feature

Linktree will integrate Songlink / Odesli into its new Music Link feature which allows artists to maximize their digital footprint in streaming and helps their fans discover new music. With this acquisition and feature, Linktree takes an important step towards becoming the one-stop-shop for the three key pillars of music monetization: Touring, Merchandise, and Streaming.
Wiz khalifa, Luc Combs, BENEE, Vance Joy, Ashnikko and Luke Hemmings 5 seconds of summer are among the artists using Music Links to share their content on 16 major music streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube. Artists can rearrange the list of streaming services according to their preferences and add unlimited links and YouTube and Spotify integrations to share music, merchandise and tickets in one place.
With its content matching capability, Linktree’s Music Link automatically detects and displays the same song or album on all music streaming services to help fans listen to their favorite service. Each Linktree visitor will get personalized streaming results based on their location, and interactions with Spotify’s embedded content will count as one stream for the artist.
Artists with Linktree PRO accounts will be able to measure fan engagement, including which streaming services are most popular, where the fans are located, and which platforms the audience traffic is coming from.
