Food, music and crafts on offer at Broadstairs Christmas Market – The Isle Of Thanet
The Broadstairs Christmas Market returns to Victoria Parade from today (December 9) to December 12. The market, hosted by Zoom Events, will feature street food, a party bar, handmade groceries and a selection of arts, crafts and gift ideas.
Enjoy freshly prepared hot street food, ranging from traditional Mexican dishes and oriental cuisine to pancakes made with fair trade and organic ingredients. Among the handmade groceries you’ll find rich brownie slices and flat cookies from the popular Elle’s bakery, along with other stalls featuring Turkish delicacies, baklava, nuts, and fresh coffee. The Famous Last Stand bar will offer a large selection of festive drinks to enjoy while soaking up the festive atmosphere.
Stalls will border Victoria Parade with additional trestle tables for small artisans in the heated marquee on Victoria Gardens, selling items such as candles, wax casts and scented goods to mosaic bowls and fair trade flowers .
In addition to free entry to the Broadstairs Christmas Market, there are special paid evenings under the heated marquee in Victoria Gardens.
Tonight (December 9) there will be a stand-up comedy night, on Friday December 10, internationally acclaimed jazz artist Katie Bradley will take the stage with The Dave Ferra Band and on Saturday December 11, Rhythm Shack will perform will produce. All evening events are from 7-9 p.m. (arrival 6:30 p.m.), with the hot food court and winter bar remaining open to complete the experience. The Broadstairs Christmas Market will be open Thursday, December 9 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday December 10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday December 11 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday December 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
