Ayra Starr marks a year in the music industry and promises to never disappoint fans
Nigerian singer and songwriter Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, celebrated her first birthday in the music industry on Saturday.
The 19-year-old artist, who is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself that she made a year ago.
In the video, she announced her debut in the music industry and said that she would make such videos every year.
Sharing another recent video, the singer announced that she has marked a year in the industry as she appreciates her fans and those who have helped her succeed.
Ayra Starr valued her fans, whom she called Starrs, promising never to disappoint them.
The Bloody Samaritan crooner wrote in the caption, “One year! It’s only God. Thank you all. Thanks to @donjazzy @rimouuune @tegamavin @vaedar, and to all my family.
“Thank you mum @miucliff and my partner in crime, my biggest supporter, my best friend @sainttmilar and my amazing amazing Starrs.

The singer rose to prominence early last year and received favorable reviews for her songs such as “Away”, “Fashion Killer” and “Bloody Samaritan”.
“Away” reportedly hit No. 1 on Nigeria’s iTunes and also topped Apple Music charts in countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Gambia.
