About AIMS

A tech start-up specializing in AI-based music similarity search and metadata solutions for music rights owners and media companies. Our proprietary technology saves customers/users time and makes music discovery easier by using links and audio file-based music search.

Our AI-powered solution has revolutionized music search and discovery and enables forward-thinking rights holders to better organize and present their catalogs to music users through our diverse suite of products and tools.

We have grown exponentially since our launch in 2019, already working with some of the largest and most forward-thinking music and media companies in the world, including Universal Production Music, Warner Chappell PM, Partisan, Hipgnosis, RTL, Sony and many others.
AIMS is entirely self-funded and profitable, operating as a fully remote team based around the world.


The role

As a growing company, we are looking for an experienced B2B marketing professional to join our team to develop an international marketing strategy and execute all elements of that strategy.

This includes creating and implementing content for all of our marketing channels (e.g. website, social media, etc.), ownership of the AIMS brand and message, customer communications and warranties to branding and public relations.

We are looking for someone who is able to deliver high-level marketing innovation and is not afraid to be hands-on and detail-oriented, as the team is very small to start with.


Main responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global strategy for our brand and customer engagement.
    Strategy and execution of content for our website, newsletter and relevant social media platforms.
  • Create appropriate sales materials (e.g. content, pitch decks) to support the business development team.
  • Advertising and PR campaigns and related content to generate business leads and brand awareness, and measure ROI.
  • Attend industry events and identify speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Data analysis to measure conversions and identify opportunities for business growth.

Core Competencies
  • 5+ years of marketing/communications experience, preferably in music or B2B SaaS.
  • Basic understanding of how the music industry works and major AIMS customers.
  • Ability to take complex issues and distill them into clear messaging and strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (native level English is a must).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and projects.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently with a remote global team.
  • Ability to follow high level advice, navigate ambiguity and execute quickly.
  • Proficiency in all software application suites relevant to the role (eg Microsoft, iWork).
